Who do we help?

At Gravity Coaching, we define caregiver as anyone who gives their time, energy, or heart to support the well-being, growth, or healing of another person — whether at home, at work, or in their community

You might be a caregiver if…

You’re the one people turn to for support — a nurse on a busy unit, a parent juggling everything, a friend who listens deeply, or a human caring for a loved one.

Caregivers come in many forms…

But they share one thing in common: a deep desire to help others — sometimes at the expense of their own well-being.
I help you change that.

About Gravity

We live in a world that celebrates flight — reaching new heights, breaking glass ceilings, and soaring above the clouds. These pursuits are powerful and necessary.

But we often forget one simple truth: the law of gravity still applies. What goes up must come down. And when it does, few of us have been taught how to land with grace.

At Gravity Coaching, we believe in both — the courage to rise and the wisdom to stay grounded. We help you build a foundation stable enough to support your growth, so when life pulls you back down, you don’t crash — you recalibrate.

We don’t pretend you’ll never fall. We prepare you to meet the fall with resilience, compassion, and trust in yourself.

Because when you know you’ll be okay no matter what, you’ll be capable of flying even higher.

About Danella

I have been a nurse for over 18 years ~ I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a post-Master’s certificate in Health Care Education, and a Board Certified Nurse Coach. I have worked at the bedside in the ICU and ambulatory settings, as a nurse leader focused on patient safety, quality improvement and nursing education, and have taught pediatric nursing in an academic institution.

I am a wife and a mother of 3 children, and my youngest kiddo was born with a rare genetic condition requiring extra special care.

Also… I am a nurse and a disability parent recovering from overwhelm and burnout. Navigating a full-time leadership role while caring for my family, including a child with special needs, took a toll on my mental and emotional health. I had worked so hard to achieve my professional goals, and yet it all came crumbling down around me. I gave up my dream job in my dream organization because my dreams no longer felt like mine.

While I believe the healthcare system has much work to do, I also believe each and every caregiver has the capacity to change their life right now, in this moment.

I know, because that’s exactly what I did.

And I can help you do that too.

Coaching for nurses

As a nurse, your health & well-being is affected by the physical, mental and emotional demands of your work, and your work is affected by your well-being.

Nursing is an intimately human profession, and caring for other humans can create significant challenges for nurses (some of which go unnoticed). Burnout is the #1 cause of nurse attrition, and in turn nurse attrition causes additional burnout. It’s a vicious cycle. When we are stressed and overwhelmed everything feels like a threat, and it can be hard to know what is actually in need of attention in our lives. We think changing our circumstances will fix the problem, until we notice similar patterns appear in those new circumstances. This is because everywhere we go, we take ourselves with us.

The key to breaking this cycle is to deeply understand ourselves and what we need to be well. We can’t always see our situations objectively, which is where coaching comes in. Coaching helps you understand your lived experience and identify how and when you feel most triggered. A nurse coach can help you discover the root causes of these feelings and create a plan to experience life from a place of empowerment.

I believe that nursing should move towards a future that doesn’t involve self-sacrifice.
As a nurse, you deserve a career that you love,
and one that loves you back.
